Howard travelled to Bali, stayed in the luxury resort of Maya Ubud Resort and Spa, and made a trip to Ubud with Sin Sin Man to meet the local craftsman/woodworker who would execute her latest designs. Howard met Sin Sin at her gallery in Hong Kong and found mutual interests in the arts. Sin Sin is well established within the art community with her three galleries in San Wan district of Hong Kong. They spent the afternoon creating mock-ups of the wood totems, perfecting the proportions and designing them with the local expert in Balinese woodcarving at hand to give his input on the capabilities of the native woods.
