Midland, Ontario

The goal of this master plan for Midland is to transform its historic downtown into a regional destination. The plan identifies the town’s unique urban characteristics, many of which have been incorporated into the design of the Midland Cultural Centre. This project is the first phase of Midland’s transformation and creates the southern anchor to its retail and cultural core.  In this proposal a reconfigured marina and waterfront park are defined by mid-rise, mixed use buildings overlooking the lake.
